Growing Space Pontypridd Growing Space Nurture with Nature is a small but passionate team who specialise in environmental art and creative social history projects.

We bring people together through creativity and companionship in the Pontypridd area. Welcome to Growing Space Pontypridd. Our aim is to improve the health and well-being of our community by encouraging the young and young at heart to explore the great outdoors through creative arts opportunities. Our ethos is learning through play and nurturing with nature! Each of our workshops are designed to b

ring you closer to nature, to enhance your well being, introduce you to new crafts and new friends. We use outside spaces for our workshops or bring the outside inside to you! Here's some of the workshops we offer:

Our Tuesday Greenhouse Gatherings Group decided they had had a long enough summer break without seeing each other and collectively organised a trip to the gorgeous Coalfield Flower Farm this afternoon 💐🌻🌺.

Thank you so much to Chris and Pippa for hosting us and accommodating our rather large group! 🌱🤗🌷

It is so lovely to witness the power of friendship and to hear from our participants that they want to hang out regularly throughout our holiday breaks! 🌼.

Thank you to our Tuesday Group for suggesting the meet up! The weather held out just long enough for us to pick some beautiful flowers! 😍🌞

The lovely lot at Y Muni Pontypridd have offered our participants free tickets for tomorrow's show of 'Pleth' which sounds just lovely! They have performances at 12pm or 3pm. We'd like to celebrate our 4th BIRTHDAY today as a CIC by announcing our new programmes of activity for September! Not ONE but TWO exciting timetables of loveliness! Check out our weekly activities and our Carers offer across the whole of RCT below!! 🥳🎉

We are also super excited to be working with Stroke Association Wales this term providing therapeutic Arts for Stroke Survivors! This will be delivered alongside our Carers Creative company activity giving carers some much needed creative respite. 🤗

What a lovely Creepy Crawly Activity Morning in the wild zone! We had a lovely story of 'Norman the slug with the silly shell' we learnt lots of BSL words with our friend Kathryn, hunted down those bugs on our trail and created our own creepy crawlies to take home! Thank you to all of those that joined us this week for our Meithrin Natur pilot:) We hope you had fun!

A big diolch to our local community who have stopped and had a chat with us this week and even donated washing-up bowls to replace our ones that were stolen! So kind!

Upset to report that some person has helped themselves to not one but two of our messy kitchen washing up bowls! 😡 To say we are dissapointed when these are for the enjoyment of children in our community is an understatement.
