I’ve been a bit quiet online over the years... Not one for shouting about what we’re doing, we’ve just been getting on with it. But as Batch Plant moves into its twelfth year, it felt like the right time to reflect. And to say thank you.

I started this business with no investors, but savings, a stubborn belief, and a yard in South Wales. I’d worked the machines, delivered the training, seen the gaps - and decided to do things differently.

That was the start of Batch Plant.

The goal was never to grow for the sake of it. It was to build something solid… a place where people could come and get real, practical training from people who’d actually done the job.

That hasn’t changed.

We’ve steadily built up our fleet and facilities over time. Everything we use, we own. That means no hired-in kit, no delays, no middlemen. Just well-run training, delivered properly.

We’ve grown - new site, more trainers, a small but committed team. Family still plays a big role, and so does community. We’ve trained people from all over the UK and done it quietly, reliably, and with purpose.

The industry’s shifted. Funding goes in cycles. But we’ve kept our focus: quality training, run by people who care about doing things right. And as demand grows, so will we - but not at the expense of standards.
