My name is Anne Neale as a registered childminder I am to provide a childminding service that allows boys and girls to learn and develop in a safe, secure and home based environment. Play will be at the centre of the child’s learning and development, and a wide range of activities and experience appropriate to the age and stage of development will be offered. The main language spoken is English al
ong with basic Welsh. I have an admission policy for all children that come to my setting. I am registered with the Care and Social Service Inspectorate Wales to care for up five children from birth to 12 years old. I have gained my NVQ level 2 in Children’s Care, Learning and development, Diploma Level 3 in Children’s Care Learning and development and Level 5 in Children’s Care Learning and development. I can also offer out of school care for school children and families and I may be able to care for children with additional needs. I have an outdoor play area, playroom, kitchen and bathroom that the children will have the use of and they will also be taken to local parks, shops, toddler groups and library on a regular basis. I provide a range of activities including art and crafts, storytelling, singing, musical instruments, role play, contraction toys and jigsaws. I work closely with parents to ensure that I follow the same routine as much as possible. I take the children to school and nursery as part of the daily routines. I can drop off and pick up from the following schools and nurseries: Griffithstown Primary School, Ysgol Panteg and local playgroups. My service is available from 6.30 – 17.30 Monday – Friday, I will negotiate individual contract for each child. All meals are included in the fees. A contract must be agreed before the child starts and that all terms and conditions of the contracts are meet. I do as parents to provide nappies if needed along with spare clothes, sun cream and hat. I will negotiate an individual contract for each child, which includes term and conditions of my service.
