Welsh being my first language, I am enthusiastic and passionate about my subject and have over 18 years experience teaching all levels of Welsh for Adults and over 8 years teaching primary & secondary aged students. I am happy to tailor lessons to suit the student's needs and concentrate on areas to improve e.g., exam prep/coursework, speaking, listening, reading and writing. Previous employment i

ncludes managing a large provision of Welsh in the Workplace and Welsh for the Family classes in the local area, as well as being involved in developing Welsh assessment and qualifications for teachers who teach Welsh as a second language at primary school level and developing an online tool to assess Welsh language skills in the workplace. I was also a Welsh Language Policy Unit Manager for two local authorities and have expertise in Welsh language policies. Subjects taught: A level/KS4 Welsh First or Second Language | GCSE/KS3 Welsh First or Second Language | KS1/2 Welsh first or second language | Welsh for Adults – all levels (Entry, Foundation, Intermediate, Advanced, Proficiency). I have an abundance of Welsh language learning resources for KS1, 2, 3 and 4 and use the recommended Welsh for Adults course-books for adult learners. I am available to teach face-to-face students within 8 miles of the Pontypool area and also teach students remotely using Zoom or Microsoft Teams, currently teaching students as far as Australia.
