Had a great week celebrating the end of the summer term and wishing all the children who are moving on to reception classes in September all the very best for the future. We are closed now until Monday 5th September and we look forward to welcoming the 3 year olds back aswell as a group of new children too. Sesiwn coginio wythnosol i ddysgu sgiliau torri/ cymysgu ac ati. Mae'r plant yn cael cyfle i flasu bob math o fwydydd iach newydd a mynd a pheth ohono adre hefyd
Our weekly cooking session is a chance to learn new skills - cutting/ mixing and so on. The childen love the chance to taste new healthy food items and take some of what they have cooked home too.

It was good to welcome Dr Dicken, Miss Brown and Miss Harley into our Nursery this week. Arranging a transition timetable is very important and helps the children prepare for the reception class in September

We had a lovely Sports Day in the Park this week. THe children had lots of fun and a medal each- congratulations to all.

The children love playing outside and have created a beach corner to plasy in after our visit to Barry Island.

Mae ein sesiwn coginio wythnosol yn gyfle gwych i gyflwyno'r plant i fwydydd iach a'u hannog i flasu pethau newydd. Bara soda'r wythnos dwethaf a salad ffrwythau'r wythnos yma.
Our weekly cooking sessions is a great way of introducing the children to healthy food and encourage them to try new things. The children made soda bread rolls last week and fruit salad this week.

The children are working hard in the garden. Our herbs are growing well and the strrawberries, potatoes and tomatoes are in and on the way so we hope to open a shop before the summer holidays to sell them all.

Another week full of exciting learning opportunities - cooking, tinkering, problem solving, practising physical and counting skills and a chance to play and learn with our friends.

Mae cydweithio a'r teuluoedd sydd yn cefnogi'r Meithrinfa yn hynod o bwysig i ni ac o'r diwedd daeth cyfle i ddechrau ail drefnu gweithgareddau a digwyddiadau. Cawsom Te Prynhawn hynod o lwyddiannus yn yr heulwen i ddathlu diwedd hanner tymor arall. Diolch o galon i bawb wnaeth gefnogi - hyfryd eich gweld chi i gyd.

Working and interacting with the families who support our Nursery is of great importance to us. We are so pleased that at last we can start organising events and activities again. Our Afternoon Tea in our Community Garden was a huge success and a great way to celebrate the end of another half term. Many thanks to EVERYONE who came along to support the event - it was lovely to see you all

Mae'r plant wedi cael cyfle i goginio pitsa gyda Richard Shaw o Cooking Together yr wythnos yma. Bwriadwn trefnu sesiynnau coginio cyson o hyn allan gyda'r plant yn dewis y ryseitiau.
The children had lots of fun cooking pizzas with Richard from Cooking Together this week. We are looking forward to cooking on a regular basis this summer.

We had a lovely nature walk in the park this week. We found lots of bluebells, primroses, listened to the birds singing, hugged a tree, found a Gryffalo cave and practised our balancing skills on a log.

Waw that was a busy week - we celebrated the Chinese New Year, learnt all about dinosaurs, had a physical skills session with Abigail Powell from Torfaen Sport's Development, tasted new food and had lots of fun too

Dyna beth oedd wythnos prysur. Dathlu Dydd Santes Dwynwen a chynorthwyo'r Urdd i dori record byd. Cafodd y plant llawer o hwyl.

Another busy week. We celebrated Dydd Santes Dwynwen, Wales' patron saint o lovers and helped Urdd Gobaith Cymru break 2 world records. Well done children.
