Another busy week here at Cupcakes ‘n’ Dinosaurs! 😄

Red Nose Day, St Patricks Day, Jack and the Beanstalk continued and settling in our cheeky little furry friend … who is officially named by Nico in Preschool as Benjamin or Benji for short!👏🏼⭐️

Thank you for all your generous donations for comic relief. 🙏🏻❤️

And Happy Mother’s Day to all our lovely families - hope you are al having a special day and being spoilt! 🥰💐x

So the Easter Bunny has come early and left us a very special gift for us all to look after at nursery… 😍😍😍

He is absolutely beautiful - super soft, loves attention and cuddles, is very tame and only 6 months old. ❤️🐰

He has a forever home with us and now he needs a name - so it’s competition time!

Part 2: furry, feathered and scaly friends continued… ❤️🐾

Part 1: Well what ANIMAZING morning we had at nursery today! A snake, tortoises, a chameleon, a bearded dragon, a rabbit, a skunk, baby guinea pigs, an owl and a fox!

No more words needed- just look at those faces!! 😍😍😍

A huge thank you to Jasmine and ‘Animals Interactive’ for teaching us so much and letting us experience these beautiful animals. We were all totally spellbound!! We can’t wait for our next visit very soon! ❤️ X

☃️❄️Well that was a bit of a different day! 🌨💙

For us as adults snow tends to bring chaos and inconvenience. Today however we were reminded of just how magical snow days are for children. Some of them have never experienced it in their living memory! The awe in their faces said it all…

So all our usual planned activities went out the window and today we just enjoyed the wintery weather! We had snowball fights (aunties were the targets!🤣), made a snowman, caught snowflakes with our tongues, got Aunty Meg to be a snow angel, had hot chocolate to warm up and watched Frozen and sang the songs together.

And it was perfect. 😊 x

As the snow continues to fall and is set to carry on for hours to come, we have decided to close earlier than usual at 4pm today to ensure everyone can get home safely before it gets dark. Thank you for your understanding. X

We are celebrating World Book Day on Monday 6th March (next week) and are inviting children to wear a costume that relates to their favourite book character and bring in their books to share with us all on this date! 🐛😄 x

Today we celebrated all things welsh! Fantastic costumes, a special menu for the day (chicken and leek pie, bara brith, rarebit and dragon shaped shortbread), painting with leeks,
Welsh themed tuff spot, leek and lime water play, welsh flag colouring, handprint red dragons, harp music and NDNA online live event watching and singing with other nurseries across Wales!
