Ffaldau Primary Community Pantry is open for business tomorrow between 9am and 11am with lots on offer after a restock. The fridge is full with sausages, bacon, pizza, salad, yoghurt, ham and lots more...please see the video attached. Please share!

Just a reminder that we will be open during the first three weeks of the holidays.

Good morning,
Ffaldau Primary Community Pantry is open for business today after a big restock. As it's the last week of term, you can buy mote items than usual, if you wish to do so:

10 items for £5
15 items for £7.50
20 items for £10

The chiller is full of products including chicken thighs, bacon, yoghurts and more, along with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables and your cupboard staples.

Good news: the pantry will continue to open for the first three weeks of the holidays on a Thursday between 9am and 11am...we look forward to seeing you.

It's that time of the week again...Ffaldau Primary Community Pantry is open tomorrow between 9am and 10.30am and 2.30pm and 4pm. Lots of stock on offer following a restock this week. £5 per bag and £1 membership for new members. Please come along - all welcome. Don't forget your carrier bags.

🎶 Calling Local Bands & Musicians! 🎶

The Garw Valley Federation Schools' Summer Festival is taking place on Tuesday 14th July and we’re looking for talented local bands to help make the day unforgettable for our children.
We’ll have around 450 pupils from Betws, Ffaldau, Blaengarw and Tynyrheol Primary Schools coming together for a day of fun, play and socialising at Betws Primary School... and we’d love to give them the chance to experience live music. 🎤🎸

Whether you’re able to play a one-hour set or longer, your support would mean so much and truly make the day extra special.
While we don’t have a large budget, we can offer:
✅ Refreshments on the day
✅ Free promotion/advertising for your band
✅ A fantastic, appreciative young audience!
🕙 Festival runs from 10am–2pm

🌟 Nursery Places Still Available – Late Applications🌟

If you have not yet applied for a nursery place for your child for September 2026, there is still time to secure a space within our Garw Valley Federation schools, including Ffaldau Primary School .

Good afternoon,

​The weather forecast for this week is hot and sunny. Please ensure that your child comes to school with a sun hat, a water bottle and ensure that they have applied sun protection cream. If you would like your child to reapply their sunscreen throughout the day, then please send this in with your child or hand to the adult on the door at the start of the day.

Children have access to their water bottles throughout the day and will be encouraged to stay in the shaded areas of the yard while they are outside.

A 'Sun Station' will be up and running on our yard from Monday afternoon - this will be stocked with bottles of water, sun hats to borrow and bottles of sunscreen to apply to your child before/after school. Please feel free to take what you need, but we ask that the sun hats are returned by the end of the school day for washing. If you have any spare or unwanted sun hats at home, then we would be grateful for any donations.

REMINDER: Stay and Play will take place on Tuesday 23rd June between 3.15pm and 4.15pm. The activities will be on the infant yard, where there is more shade and there will be lots of refreshments on offer. We hope that lots of you are able to join us again this week.

Good morning,
Ffaldau Primary Community Pantry is open today between 9am and 10.30am and 2.30pm and 4pm. Lots of new stock...the chiller is full of pizzas, burritos, sausage rolls and the freezer is full to the brim too.
