Another amazing testimonial received from a recent workstation assessment client!

"Preparing people for the workplace and the workplace for people"

The best kind of text to receive!

Hearing that a client has turned a corner with their studies, grown in confidence, loves sixth form, landed a job at McArthurGlen, and is living their best life... there's honestly nothing better.

This is what Resilient Futures is all about, helping you g employees and business to support them to develop resilience and belief needed to take on the world.

So proud of you!

1. Eye-Level Screen Placement: Position the top third of your main monitor directly at eye level, roughly an armโ€™s length away. This keeps your neck in a neutral alignment and prevents forward-head posture ("text neck").

2. 90-Degree Joint Rule: Adjust your chair height so your elbows rest comfortably on the desk or armrests at a 90ยฐ to 100ยฐ angle, and your feet flat on the floor or on a footrest.

3. Lumbar Support: Ensure the lower curve of your spine is fully supported by your chair's lumbar cushion. If sitting without support, the lower back muscles overcompensate, leading to fatigue and chronic strain.

Great to hear success stories from clients!

Young workers enter the workforce overwhelmed by digital noise, skewed expectations, and social pressure.

In my interview with Dr. Lara Shemtob, one of the things we explored was why traditional onboarding is broken, and how to fix it.

3 ways to build long-term resilience:
1๏ธโƒฃ Upskill Line Managers: Train managers to bridge generational perspectives on work and spot early signs of burnout.
2๏ธโƒฃ Clear Boundaries: Set explicit communication and digital boundaries from Day 1 to encourage healthy self-regulation.
3๏ธโƒฃ Peer Mentorship: Provide a safe space for new hires to learn, adapt, and build peer support.

Obvious wellbeing advice is usually the hardest to actually practice.

We all know we need screen breaks, time outdoors, and real downtime. But knowing isn't doing.

As leaders, sharing stress-reduction tips isn't enough. We have to create a culture where our teams actually feel supported to use them.

That means:
- Normalising real breaks away from desks

- Respecting boundaries so people can properly log off

- Leading by example from the top down
When healthy habits are built into the day, teams don't just perform better, it helps to build resilience.

How do you make space for the "obvious" habits in your workday? ๐Ÿ‘‡
