We're incredibly proud to see our students making such a positive impression during their work experience with Empath Theatre! 🎭✨

Georgi, Josh, and Elizabeth were praised for their professionalism, punctuality, and excellent communication throughout their placement. They played a key role in supporting preparations for Under the Sun at WX this August, joining a site visit to help map out Helios before assisting with blocking scenes and directing actors during the production's first rehearsal.

A huge thank you to Empath Theatre for providing such a valuable opportunity for our students to gain hands-on industry experience. We're delighted to hear how much of a difference they made and can't wait to see what they achieve next! 👏

Another amazing year for work experience!

We had many students completing work experience throughout the year as an integral part of their courses. Also, many students gave up their time to volunteer and gain valuable experience.
During our work experience week alone, we had over 1,300 students completing “in person” work experience and work related activities. That’s an impressive number of employers giving their time to help young people to develop a greater insight into their sector. We are incredibly thankful to each and every one of them, for supporting our work experience programme. As always, our students were excellent representatives of the college and more importantly, of themselves! By completing this experience they are able to develop their knowledge, learn new skills and make informed decisions about their futures! Once again, our NCLT Headquarters welcomed a group of Year 12 students to learn more about different departments within our business sector. This included; finance, HR, marketing and health and safety within an educational trust. The students took part in interactive activities linked with one or more of the departments and also discussed how to engage college students and staff to become more sustainable. Thank you to all departments and staff involved and also to the students for their professional conduct.
