What's the difference between a flyer and a spotter? π£
They might both be part of the same stunt, but they have very different jobs. Let me explain the difference.
π The Flyer:
This is the cheerleader who is lifted into the air. Flyers need great balance, body control, confidence, and trust in their teammates to hit strong, steady positions.
π‘οΈ The Spotter:
The spotter stays close to the stunt, keeping a watchful eye on the flyer at all times. Their main job is to help keep everyone safe by supporting the stunt, assisting if balance is lost, and helping with a safe dismount.
The best stunts don't just happen because of one person, they happen because everyone works together as a team.
Trust, communication, and teamwork are what make every stunt successful. πβ¨
Which role would you choose? Flyer or spotter?
