I get lots of calls and messages asking about the gate code, so I just wanted to clarify what happens when you make a booking. All of this information is also explained on the website.

When you book:

1. Booking confirmation:
Once you’ve booked and paid, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Please make sure you enter your email address correctly when booking.

2. 24-hour reminder:
24 hours before your booked slot, you’ll receive a reminder email.

3. Approximately 1 hour before your slot:
You’ll receive another email containing full instructions, including how to find us, where to park, the gate code, and instructions on how the locks work.

Please check your emails before contacting us, as all the information you need will be sent to you before your booking.

Hi all,

Just a reminder regarding booking times, as I’ve had a couple of messages today about people not leaving the field on time and therefore encroaching into the next person’s slot.

Please ensure that you, your dogs and everyone in your party are ready to leave at the end of your allocated time. Getting everyone organised to leave should be done within your booking time — please don’t wait until your slot has finished before starting to pack up or get ready.

There is no buffer time between bookings. It is strictly one in, one out, so if you overrun, you are taking time away from the person booked after you.

Please be considerate of other customers and make sure you leave promptly when your booking time ends.

On Friday 7th August we'll be heading off on holiday for two weeks.

Our lovely friends will be looking after the fields while we're away, so we'd really appreciate it if you could help them out by making sure you pick up after your dogs and put any toys away after your session.

It would also be a good idea to bring some water with you, as the water butts may not be topped up as regularly while we're away. The containers we use to fill them are very heavy, so they may not be refilled as often.

Hi,

Could you please make sure the main gate just off Spiral Hardwick Lane is locked after use? We've had problems with fly-tipping in the past, and keeping the gate locked was also a condition of our planning permission.

We've also had locks stolen because they've been left hanging open on the chain, and they're quite expensive to replace.

I've driven past several times recently and had to turn around to close and lock the gate because it had been left open. If you're meeting friends, please give them the code rather than leaving the gate open for them.
