Today, our Year 6 children celebrated their Leavers’ Mass – a special opportunity to reflect on their time at Holy Family and St Michael’s as they prepare for their next adventure. 💙

A huge thank you to all of our parents and carers who joined us for such a meaningful celebration. It was wonderful to see the children enjoying some time together afterwards, signing each other’s shirts and making lasting memories.

We hope to see all Year 6 parents and carers at our Leavers’ Liturgy tomorrow at 2:00pm. Following the liturgy, the whole school will line the playground to create a guard of honour, clapping our Year 6 children on their final journey out through the school gates.

The gates will open at 2:50pm as usual.We kindly ask that you stand behind your child and help us give our Year 6 children the fabulous send-off they deserve. After the guard of honour, you are welcome to take your child home.

We can’t wait to celebrate this very special moment with you all. ❤️

🌞 Summer Fair – 8th July! 🌞

Excitement is building for our Holy Family and St Michael’s Summer Fair, and we can’t wait to welcome you all for what promises to be a fantastic afternoon for our school community!

A huge thank you to everyone who has already brought in donations for our tombola. Your support is greatly appreciated, and we will continue to accept tombola donations over the coming days.

We are also now looking for raffle prize donations from parents, carers, families, local businesses and members of our community. If you are able to donate anything at all; vouchers, gifts, hampers, experiences, treats or anything suitable for a raffle prize, we would be incredibly grateful. Please contact the school office or send donations into school.

Raffle tickets will be going out this week to be sold.

There will be plenty to enjoy on the day, including:

🎪 Bouncy castle
🎨 Face painting
🍔 BBQ, drinks and refreshments
🍦 Ice cream van
🛍️ Enterprise Week stalls, with classes selling items they have created
🎟️ Tombola and raffle
⭐ Plus many more stalls and activities!

We were delighted to welcome Angela and Howard, two local farmers, into school to talk to the children all about farming. 🚜🌾

The children learned about what life on a farm looks like, why farming is so important, and some of the many jobs farmers have to do every single day to help care for animals, crops and the land.

A definite highlight was having the chance to see a tractor up close. There was lots of excitement and plenty of brilliant questions!

A huge thank you to Angela and Howard for giving up their time and helping bring this learning to life for our children. 👏🌱
