Does your little one love to explore? 🌿 Come and join us for Outdoor Explorers, our free toddler group here at Pocklington Prep School.

Starting Thursday 17 September 2026, we'll be getting together every Thursday during term time for children aged 0-4 and their parents and carers.

Our brand-new outdoor setting is the perfect place for little ones to explore, play and make new friends.

We know a little break goes a long way, so there'll be free tea or coffee for parents and carers too. ☕️

The group is free to attend, but places must be booked in advance.

What a year it's been for sport here at Pocklington Prep School.

From cross country and rugby to hockey, swimming, netball, cricket and athletics, our pupils have embraced every opportunity to compete, challenge themselves and represent the School with pride.

While our students are making the most of their summer break, there’s still plenty happening behind the scenes at Pocklington School. ☀️

Our Prep School is getting a summer glow-up, with work underway on our playground and a number of classrooms, ready for the new academic year.

There’s plenty happening across the wider Foundation too, including a full renovation of our Sixth Form Centre - so there’s lots to look forward to when everyone returns.

From the introduction of Pock Pathfinders - equipping pupils with the skills and confidence to embrace life’s adventures - to our first-ever hockey tour abroad, it has been a memorable year here at Pocklington School.

Our Prep School Prizegiving was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate everything that has made this year so special – from everyday achievements in the classroom to standout moments on the sports field, on stage and beyond.

It was a pleasure to see our Year 2 pupils graduate and receive their Prep School ties, while celebrating pupils who were recognised for excellence in sport, creativity, curiosity, English, maths and so much more.

Congratulations to all of our Prep School pupils on a fantastic year. We couldn't be prouder of everything you have achieved. 👏

💙💛 Our Drama Club goes from strength to strength - this time with a superb production to finish off the summer term. A real treat for both the club members, staff & parents. The production was directed by the wonderful Miss Holbrough, ably assisted by senior school students back-stage and sorting out the lighting. A real team effort 💛💙
