Unique Minds Offering specialist support for children and young people with dyslexia/ dyscalculia.

I am a qualified teacher and a Specialist Dyslexia/ Specific Learning Differences (SpLD) teacher with 17 years’ experience across the primary and the HE sector. I help children and young people acquire literacy/ study skills to support their unique way of learning. As a specialist teacher, I can conduct informal assessments and deliver specialist teaching programmes to learners with SpLD/dyslexia

up to 18 years of age. I have worked as a SENDCo supporting children with a variety of additional needs, which has led to an interest in neurodiversity, in particular dyslexia and the impact it has on the learning process. I am currently working towards becoming a dyslexia assessor and will be able to offer diagnostic assessments in the very near future.

Unique Minds is expanding!

We are now a registered provider of Non Medical Help (NMH) support for students at university or employees in the workplace in receipt of disability funding.

We are extremely excited to be able to offer Specialist 1:1 ASC Study Skills tuition, ASC Mentoring and Specialist SpLD Study Skills support for people with dyslexia, Autism, ADHD etc.

If you, or someone you know is either at or thinking about going to university and worried about how they will manage, feel free to send me a message and I can guide you through the process of applying for funding and offer further information.
