All the luck in the world to my A level students taking their first exam today, and my GCSE students taking their second - you have worked so hard and I am so proud of you all. Nearly there!

I tutor students for GCSE and A Level Mathematics exams. I am a qualified teacher, with many years of experience in preparing students for exams.
I tutor students who are preparing for their GCSE and A level exams in Mathematics. I am a qualified teacher, and I taught in a Plymouth secondary school for several years. After the birth of my two children, I decided to tutor instead so that I could be home with them during the day. I have many years of experience in teaching GCSE and A level Mathematics, and I am also an assessor for one of the
Good luck to all those taking the first GCSE Maths paper today, the first one since 2019! And especially to my lovely students who have worked so hard, I have every confidence in you (especially for the trig question!).
It was great to see students back this week, and to meet some of my new ones! I'm looking forward to working with you all. Everyone should be starting their lessons this week if they haven't already. I've had a couple of new enquiries - I'm fully booked for all evening lessons, but I have some limited daytime space available Monday to Friday, suitable for A level student and home learners. We are continuing with online only for the moment, until we can see how this term is going, but that's not a problem for us as everyone did so well working online last year! ➕➖➗✖️
Good luck to all my students who are receiving their grades this week. I'm looking forward to hearing about your results!
Congratulations and a big well done to my GCSE and A level students who have finished their assessments now. I hope you're enjoying the lovely weather! You've earnt a well deserved break after your continued hard work during this difficult year. Do let me know how you get on in August!
Online lessons are continuing to go well - well done to all of my students for your effort and commitment! An update from me on availability - I am now fully booked for all lessons, evening and daytime. I will hopefully have more daytime lessons available soon, but right now I'm at the maximum that I can do.
Schools are now back (my oldest is now in Year 7! How did that happen?) and we are back to tuition! Although not completely back to normal, as we are still totally online, I am working hard to make it as close to face to face as possible. All evening spaces are currently fully booked, but I have some daytime spaces for A level students and GCSE retakes. I wish everyone a safe and happy return to school, and I am looking forward to our online lessons this term.
Good luck to my wonderful GCSE students for results day tomorrow. However it goes, you have worked so hard and I really hope it's reflected in your grades. Let me know the results!
Here's a video showing a little bit about how online tuition is going at the moment - thank you to my wonderful children for being my mathematical helpers!
Good luck to all the A level students tomorrow, especially my lovely group. However it goes, you have worked hard and done your best in a very difficult year. Do let me know how you get on!
I've had a few enquires about tuition from September. Currently all after school, evening and weekend spaces are full, but I do have a waiting list and things do change throughout the year - if you would like to go on my list then please let me know. Daytime spaces are available Monday to Wednesday, perfect for A levels and adult learners. Price still £25 per hour, and although I hope to be face to face in September, the online option has worked well and will also be available should you prefer it, or circumstances mean we need it.
One week to the holidays - well earned by everyone this year! 🌞🌞
It's been a couple of months since my last update - online teaching and homeschooling my own children has kept me very busy! I have also been contacting those on my waiting list and am now up to date with next year's timetable. I am hoping that this will be normal face to face teaching by September, but of course we will have to follow the guidelines at the time - online teaching has been going well so there are always options!
At present, government guidelines advise against face to face tuition taking place, so I will be following those and continuing with online only for the moment. If you would like to find out about online lessons, then please send me a message. Lessons are £25 per hour, and I cover all GCSE and A level Mathematics topics.
