We are incredibly proud to share that our school has been recognised by the Department for Education for achieving some of the strongest outcomes nationally for our disadvantaged pupils in the academic year 2024/2025.
In a letter to the school, Bridget Phillipson MP, Secretary of State for Education, praised our performance, noting that it places us among the very best nationally - a remarkable achievement for our pupils, staff and wider community.
She writes:
“This success reflects the dedication of your staff and the hard work of your pupils. It shows what can be achieved when ambition and commitment come together. Thank you for everything you do to give children the best possible opportunities to succeed.”
We couldn’t agree more. Every day, our pupils and staff demonstrate extraordinary dedication and this recognition highlights the strength, ambition and commitment of our entire school community in helping every child thrive.

Recently, 5G shared their exceptional learning during their family assembly.
They shared their favourite parts of year 5 so far including their gymnastics, learning about Ancient Chinese Dynasties and division in maths.
They also shared some superb home learning including Elliot’s fantastic Greek project. They also showed off their musical talents. Not only as a class; singing a beautiful rendition of Adele’s Make You Feel My Love but Anays, Andrew and Niamh also shared their individual musical talents on the violin and keyboard.
They finished up with a quiz for their parents testing them on everything they had shared in their assembly.
Well done to all the children and staff in 5G.
