We've been learning about money this week. Recognising and ordering coins. Adding and taking away and working out change. Exploring multiple ways to make the same amounts of money and working out greater or less than amounts of money.

Then a little time with this cute litte fella! 🐾🦮🐩

Primary students can lose between one to three months of learning over the summer, a phenomenon widely known as the "summer slide". Math skills typically suffer the most, with a significant majority of students experiencing declines, while reading abilities tend to fluctuate less due to daily language exposure. https://parentingscience.com/summer-learning-loss/

Curious Kids South Hams tutoring service is offering 1 or 2-hour weekly sessions over the holidays to help boost confidence and prepare your child for the next school year.

Very hot lesson today! Perfect for some science experiments to help us understand the water cycle and to see it happening right infront of us.
