Yesterday, Year 6 continued their leavers activities with a water fight 🔫 Even the teachers got involved in the fun!

Please remember we will be holding a raffle tomorrow in school. Please send the correct money to school in a named envelope if you would like to take part.

What a wonderful day we had celebrating with the children leaving nursery and all their families. They have been an amazing nursery class and we have loved working with them, seeing so many of them develop from 2 years old and now, they are ready for school. A huge thanks to all the families for joining us for singing, dancing, laughter, cake and a bit of rock guitar! We wish them all well and look forward to watching them grow on their journey at Woodfield.

What a fantastic Transition Morning!

Today, our children enjoyed spending time in their new classrooms, meeting their new teachers and teaching assistants, and taking part in a range of exciting activities. We were so proud to see them fully engaged and demonstrating our school values by being Ready, Respectful and Safe throughout the morning.

There was a lovely buzz around the school, and we hope this experience has helped our children feel confident and excited for the year ahead!

To end the year, Year 4 are spending some time recapping key concepts and yesterday we spent some time talking about the function of each part of the digestive system. We then went outside (covered in SPF!) and had a go at drawing our very own models of the system.

On Tuesday, Year 6 had a great day at Mount Edgcumbe! They took part in a range of activities including team building, beach art, orienteering and lots of different sports. It was a fantastic day and we all had lots of fun in the sunshine!
