National Thank a Teacher Day 2026!

What a great chance to celebrate our fantastic teachers, TAs and support staff at Morley Meadow and thank them for all their hard work today and every day.

A reminder that the Stay and Play hub are kindly hosting an event for new starters to Morley Meadow on 28th June at 9am.

The meeting has taken place and the summer fair plans are well underway.

A HUGE congratulations to everyone that completed their half marathon run up on The Hoe today - what an incredible achievement! We think the smiles say it all!🌟

A massive thank you to Miss Short for organising and leading the event and all other staff, parents and carers that supported the children today.

Oscar in Year 3 is a very keen runner so he is looking forward to finishing his half marathon run up on The Hoe on Sunday with many of his friends from school in the Plymouth School's Challenge. 🏅🏃🏼‍♂️

The work St Luke's Hospice Plymouth do is very close to Oscar's heart so he's chosen to fundraise for them as he completes this 13 mile challenge.

Not long now until we will be able to see the lighthouse trail in all its glory! (We can't wait for you to see the Morley Meadow lighthouse! 👀)

We are so excited to get out and about this summer and follow the trail to find all the sculptures created by all the other schools and artists that have contributed.

× Nursery children have to attend with parent/guardian.
× Reception and KS1 children will come straight from class at the end of the day. (They can take clothes into school in the morning and change into them for the disco).
× Reception and KS1 children will be dismissed as usual from there classrooms by a member of teaching staff at 4.15pm.
