Rainbow rice TASTE SAFE version:
Dry rice
Gel food colouring
Small amount of white vinegar to set colour.
Mix well and leave on a tray to dry. 🌞

Another fabulous week is coming to an end ❤️

Lots of learning, exploring, experimenting, predicting and learning opportunities through play.

A soft toy, a car, a book, a pencil... all these things could be crucial, sometimes the smallest toy carries the biggest comfort ❤️

We always support the children and give them achievable tasks.
This works for the staff too ~ and needless to say, I will not be in charge of creating a Jellyfish Tuff Tray again 🪼

However the children LOVED IT! We also learned some interesting facts.
Jellyfish have no brain and no heart.
A box jellyfish has 24 eyes!!

At Jack and Jill's Radford, we understand that every child is different and will be ready for potty training in their own time. We won't rush the process and will always support each family and child, working together with families to make it a positive experience.
With the warmer weather, it may be an ideal time to give it a go 🚽

With the Summer Holiday ☀️ upon us i will be posting some relatively easy Art and Craft ideas 💙 to try at home 🏡

Today's idea is 'under the sea' 🌊 themed.

Tyanna Bell spotted this activity , which we are going to trial within the setting over the summer holiday period. 🪼

You will need:
Long dry spaghetti
Geletine
Hot water
Bowl
Food colouring

Cook the pasta with a couple of drops of food colouring until soft.
Make the gelatine up into bowls, this to can be coloured. 🎨
Set the gelatine into bowls.
When set lay on top of the cooked spaghetti

One thing about children, their love is pure... and that leaf, that stone, that stick, that dry mud, that picture with one scribble in yellow that you can't even really see, when they "gift" it to you its genuine ❤️ and that makes it priceless ✨️
