What did we learn here?

We learnt to work together listening to each others ideas. We learnt how to problem solve, when our bridge broke - We had to fix it.
We learnt how to accept friends in our play space, how to contribute to something amazing and being part of a team πŸ’«

This week we have been introducing the team, Abbee has recently qualified with her Level 3 in childcare. Abbee has worked in previous settings and is mum to her two boys. ❀️ Abbee has bought her knowledge of makaton sign language to the setting helping us to implement makaton as another form of communication for all of our children. When not in work Abbee likes to spend her free time doing/watching anything football or Harry Potter related. πŸ§™β€β™‚οΈπŸ§™β€β™€οΈπŸͺ„ She is a lover of board games, escape rooms, anything nature related.

This week we are introducing our team. Hannah is our level 3 qualified member of the team. Not only qualified as a Mum, but also with 11 years experience teaching, caring for, supporting and nurturing children. Hannah displays such a high level of passion and enthusiasm for her role and is an absolute credit and asset to our team. Hannah is an avid Formula1 fan 🏁 🏎 and has a love for the theatre. Hannah brings 'theatre' into her every day story telling, with intonation, drama, suspense and enthusiasm that keeps children....and staff 🀭 engaged. πŸ“– πŸ“•

What an amazing opportunity for the children at Jack and Jills Radford Childcare this morning, having Tennis coach, Ian Shannon come to visit and engage with some sporting activities. The children thoroughly enjoyed throwing balls into a tunnel, walking on ' the lily pads', balancing balls , collecting the cones and following instructionsπŸ€—

This week we are introducing our team, Gailene is our level 2 qualified member of the team, from the gorgeous St. Vincent and the Grenadines 🏝 as a mum, and having worked in previous settings Gailene brings a calm & gentle approach to our setting along with creativity and many a tuff tray activity 🎨
Gailene is envied for her delicious lunches that smell soooo good ❀️ we love hearing of typical carribean cuisine and also introducing Gailene to some of our British cuisine which she has also enjoyed cooking. Gailenes favourites include pigs in blankets, gammon at Christmas, scones, full English breakfast and her first ever Christmas pudding made by one of our lovely parents Tessa Gibbons, Plymstock Pantry which Gailene thoroughly enjoyed ❀️
