1x year as President ✅
2x Careers Fairs ✅
2x Trips to Drake’s Island ✅
1x Hinkley Trip ✅
4x Site visits ✅
3x COVID-19 cancelled events ✅

5 years at Plym Uni ✅(almost)

Thank you so much for having me CivSoc. I’ve loved my time at Plym Uni but now it would seem it is time to become a “real adult” in a world that’s probably about to go into a major recession - bring on the challenge.
Charley is your new President and also the ICE Ambassador on Campus. He will do an amazing job and bring so much enthusiasm. But he needs the enthusiasm to be matched by you guys - he needs you to do his job effectively! You’ll get out what you put in!
Good luck with the rest of your studies and I’m sure we’ll bump into eachother in the industry in the future.

The Careers Service are now on insta and Facebook!! Having an online presence means they can fit around unusual times and chat over Skype or on Teams to help with: · CVs and covering letters
· Guidance on next steps from final year
· Understanding what makes a stand out personal profile
· Job hunting support for summer work or for the career you want

So if you need any help with the above then be sure to contact them!

Hello guys, hope everyone is dealing OK with the situation with university closing.

A few of Master's students are happy to give any advice or answer questions about the course or any coursework any earlier years might have.

Feel free to comment and we will add you into a group chat.

Unfortunately HPC have decided to take the precautionary measure of reducing the number of external visitors to the construction site and our visit is therefore cancelled. We are hoping the visit will be re-arranged in the future but obviously this depends on Government advise to HPC.

PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITY!! Jacobs are offering a placement year in Dubai. Apply by sending your CV to the included email address.

Placement will allow you to put what you’ve learnt into practice and develop brand new skills. Those that have completed a placement year generally do considerably better in their final years.
