π Fatherβs Day Stay & Play π
A huge thank you to all of our dads, grandads and special father figures who joined us for our Fatherβs Day Stay & Play session. It was wonderful to see so many special moments shared β building together, exploring, playing and making memories with your little ones.
The children were so excited to show you their favourite activities and spend quality time learning and playing alongside you. Seeing the smiles, laughter and conversations shared throughout the session.

πβ¨ Library Rhyme Time Fun! β¨π
Today a small group of children enjoyed a visit to the library where they joined in with a wonderful Rhyme Time session! π΅π
The children had lots of fun singing songs, joining in with actions, listening to stories and exploring the library. It was lovely to see their smiles, enthusiasm and confidence grow as they took part alongside their friends.
π Why are rhymes and stories so important?
Reading and singing rhymes with children helps to:
π Develop early language and communication skills
π΅ Build listening and attention skills
π£οΈ Introduce new words and vocabulary
πΆ Help children hear and recognise sounds in words, supporting future reading skills
π€ Encourage social interaction and turn-taking
π Develop imagination, creativity and memory
β€οΈ Strengthen the special bond between children and their families
Just a few minutes each day spent sharing a book, singing nursery rhymes or telling stories can make a huge difference to a childβs learning and development.
We had a fantastic time and canβt wait for our next library adventure! ππβ¨

Today we needed to call an ambulance for one of our little ones following a medical episode at nursery.
We wanted to make parents aware, just in case your child comes home and mentions seeing paramedics or an ambulance at nursery today.
The child was checked over by the paramedics and we are pleased to share that they are recovering well.
A huge well done to our team, who remained calm, acted quickly and followed procedures to ensure the child received the support they needed. We are very proud of how professionally they managed the situation.
Thank you for your understanding and support.

πΏπ± Planting Herbs for Our Sensory Garden! π±πΏ
Today the children enjoyed helping to plant herbs for our sensory garden. They carefully filled pots with soil, planted the herbs and watered them, taking pride in caring for our growing garden.
As they explored, the children used their senses to touch the different textures, smell the fragrant herbs and observe the colours and shapes of the leaves. This created lots of opportunities for conversations, new vocabulary and shared thinking as the children talked about what they could see, feel and smell.
Gardening provides so many learning opportunities, supporting communication and language, physical development, understanding of the world and personal, social and emotional development. Most importantly, the children had lots of fun working together and caring for nature! πΏπ

βοΈ Spare Clothes Needed Please! π¦π
With the warmer weather finally here, the children are enjoying lots more water play, messy play and outdoor activities. While we do our best to keep everyone dry, accidents and splashes are all part of the fun!
We are currently running very low on spare clothes at nursery. Please could all parents ensure their child has a complete set of spare clothes in their bag, including:
π Top
π Trousers/shorts
π©² Underwear
𧦠Socks
Having spare clothes available helps us keep children comfortable and able to continue enjoying their day.
Thank you for your support! βοΈπ
