☀️ Sports Day is moving to Wednesday 24th June! ☀️

Mother Nature had other plans, so we've rescheduled to give everyone a chance to enjoy the sunshine and celebrate our amazing athletes. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

A letter with all the details about any changes is heading your way, so keep an eye out for that. 📬

Mark your calendars for next Wednesday, 24th June when we'll cheer on the children as they show us their speed, strength, and spirit! 🎉 See you there!

Parent Dates - Summer 2026

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Sports Day this year will take place on Wednesday 17th June and we are looking forward to seeing you at Tothill Field. If it is raining on that day, then we will rearrange to Wednesday 24th June; however, we will keep you updated about this.

SPORTS DAY!

Following feedback from last year’s parent survey, we have slightly altered this year’s structure so that you are able to watch more of the children’s activities. There will be the usual races and then a carousel of sports activities.

We are unable to have all 400 children at the field at one time so we have split the day into two sections. Please read carefully to see which time your child/children will be at the field for.
These are the approximate timings:

Years R, 1 & 2 – 9:30 – 11:30

Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 – 12:40 – 14:40

On the day, please provide your child with a Packed Lunch (If your child is in receipt of Free School Meals, we will provide a school packed lunch). We will eat lunch at school. Please remember to also put sun cream on your child before school, provide them with a hat, a full drink bottle and a school jumper to wear over their PE kit. All children to come to school in their P.E Kits.

We always look forward to Sports Day and hope to see lots of you there cheering your children on. There will be allocated spaces for parents to stand so children will have enough room to complete their activities.

Get ready for something special! Our class assembly is happening today at 2:40 PM, and we'd love to have you there. Doors open at 2:30.

We've been working incredibly hard on this, and we're so excited to share what we've created with you! 🌟 It's going to be a wonderful celebration of all our efforts. See you later! 📍

It was wonderful to meet some of our new entrants and their parents last night at the first of our 'New entrants' events. The children were able to explore their future classrooms and meet some of the adults they will be with from September. Also, our Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher were there to welcome them to the school.

We hope to see more of you next Monday from 3:30pm to give out your book bags and letters with your start times and your home visit letters if required.

Trutex will be there again to sell uniform too!

You’re warmly invited to the Plymouth Parent Carer Voice (PPCV) SEND Conference at the University of Plymouth on Tuesday, 30th June! Join us from 9:00 AM for a fantastic day with over 30 stalls packed with information, advice and activities for parents, carers, and young people.

Explore over 30 stalls in our marquee, or drop into presentations that will run in the Rolle Building throughout the day. Enjoy a warm welcome talk at 9:40 AM, dip in and out or stay all day until 3:00 pm.

The event is FREE and lunch is provided for those who register in advance.
