Happy National Poetry Day from Plymouth High! This year’s theme is ‘wonder’…

“Like gentle waves watched from The Hoe,
our thoughts, like poetry, ebb and flow.
Plymouth High students create and inspire,
they wander, they wonder, reaching ever higher.”

❓ Who is your favourite poet? 🤔 📖

Happy 50th birthday to our Deputy Headteacher, Miss Roughton! Here she is making the most of her birthday morning so far teaching a group of Year 12 students 🥳

Do you think Miss Roughton should wear the 'birthday princess' tiara and sash all day? 👍 for 'Yes!' or ❤️ for 'Yes, even at tonight's open evening!'

Have a wonderful birthday, Miss Roughton! Thank you for all that you do!

How is it mid-September already? 🍂 It feels like the summer holidays were only yesterday! We'd love to hear what you got up up to over the break.

Whether you achieved a milestone goal like Ellie-Mae (10T) who received her Gold award in Girlguiding ⭐️, you represented a club in an event, or you learned a new skill, please send your news to Miss Redmond, Headteacher's PA, ([email protected]) so that we can celebrate you!

👏 Congratulations Ellie-Mae! Being the first in your Girlguiding unit to achieve this award is an outstanding achievement which no doubt you worked very hard for and should be extremely proud of! 🤩
