PHSG achieves 'Bronze' AI Quality Mark We are delighted to share that Plymouth High School for Girls has been awarded the AI Quality Mark (Bronze Award) in recognition of our growing use of artificial intelligence to enhance teaching, learning and professional practice.

The below message has this morning been sent out by email:

Dear Parents/Carers

Further to my letter on Friday in which I advised that students would not be required to wear blazers this week due to the hot weather, I wanted to provide an update.

Given the increased weather warnings over the weekend and in the interests of student comfort and wellbeing, we have spoken to students during this morning’s tutor time and advised that for this week only, they may choose either to wear their usual uniform with shirts untucked, or their approved PE kit during the school day.

These arrangements are for this week only, but I will of course review as necessary.

Today, our Year 10 students have been warmly welcomed into the Sixth Form Study Centre by the Head of Sixth Form and the Sixth Form team. This valuable opportunity allowed them to prepare for their Biology mock examination in a calm, focused environment while also gaining a real insight into life as a Plymouth High Sixth Form student. The visit gave them a taste of the independence, support and academic atmosphere that awaits them as they look ahead to their post-16 journey.
