What do whole grapes and mini eggs have in common? They’re both the perfect size and shape to completely block a child’s airway. And, due to their texture they can be difficult to dislodge with standard first aid techniques.

With whole grapes we advise cutting them in half lengthways and ideally into quarters to create thin strips. But chopping up mini eggs isn’t as easy. So, what can you do?

1. Hide them from the children and eat them yourself – good luck with that!
2. Put the mini eggs into a sealable plastic bag and smash them into small pieces with a rolling pin. Or, crush them in a pestle and mortar.
3. Opt for a different treat. Larger, hollow eggs are much safer for little ones.

So this happened tonight…

Out of 300,000 international women business owners within Mums/Moms in Business International- Support Educate Empower Network, I won the MIB 2022 bounce back award. There were so many deserving women as finalists, many that I personally know.

Thankyou to everyone who nominated me at Blossoming bumps and babies, and voted for me in the final.

I’m absolutely humbled to have been awarded this.

Business is definitely a rollercoaster…but don’t ever give in, be like a boat and ride those waves 🌊
