Caitlyn has been dancing for 17 years and is trained in 10 different dance styles. Throughout her dance career, she has successfully auditioned for opportunities including cruise ship productions and Graziano’s tour. Her passion for dance goes far beyond performance; she is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment where people can truly be themselves.

Dance played a significant role in helping Caitlyn become the person she is today. As someone with autism, she found that dancing helped her build confidence, develop social connections, and thrive alongside like-minded people. These experiences have inspired her to provide the same supportive opportunities for others.

Caitlyn’s vision is to create a community-focused dance studio that is inclusive, supportive, and affordable, ensuring that everyone has the chance to experience the joy and benefits of dance regardless of their background or circumstances.

✨ A New Chapter Begins ✨

We are thrilled to announce that the studio is officially being taken over by Caitlyn Sansom – someone whose journey within these walls has come full circle.

Caitlyn first walked through the studio doors as a dedicated student, growing not only as a dancer but as a valued member of the Empower family. Over the years, she became a successful teacher, inspiring countless students with her passion, commitment, and love for dance. Now, she is stepping into an exciting new role as the owner of this very special studio.

The studio’s new business is named, One More Time Dance Company, that carries a heartfelt meaning. It was inspired by former Principal beloved Bob Gibson, whose famous phrase, “one more time,” became something of a studio motto. Whether it was one more routine, one more drill, or one more run-through, everyone knew it was rarely just one more time! Those words became a symbol of perseverance, dedication, laughter, and the spirit that made this studio so special.

By choosing this name, Caitlyn hopes to honour Bob’s legacy, keep his memory alive, and celebrate the foundations that made this studio what it is today, whilst bringing a new and exciting future for her students young and old.

Over the coming months, the studio will be refreshed with a brand-new look, exciting updates, redecoration, and a renewed vision — all while preserving the community, passion, and values that have always called this place home.

Here’s to fresh beginnings, new dreams, and giving this incredible dance home one more time to shine. 💫
