Stoke Damerel Primary School PTA is excited to be planning our Summer Fair on Friday 3rd July — and we need your help to make it amazing!
We’re currently looking for:

Do you run a small business, craft stall, or have something unique to sell? We’d love to have you join us!
🎁 Raffle Prize Donations
We’re also collecting prizes for our raffle – vouchers, gift sets, experiences, or anything you can kindly donate would be greatly appreciated.
This is always a fantastic community event and a great opportunity to support the school while showcasing local businesses. 💛

We’re so pleased to share that the Bird’s Nest provision has received brand‑new equipment, funded by the PTA. The children have been exploring it all week and absolutely loving it. Thank you to everyone who supports our fundraising — you make moments like this possible.

What a week for attendance! After Key Stage 1 achieved a fantastic 100% yesterday, today our whole school has reached an impressive 98.2%. Amazing effort from everyone — let’s keep it going!

Every single child in Key Stage 1 is in school today, giving us 100% attendance across the phase. What an incredible achievement!
To celebrate, the children will enjoy an extra 5 minutes of playtime today.

👩‍🌾👨‍🌾 Little Green Thumbs: Stoke Damerel’s budding gardeners dig in and try their hand at “Lasagna Gardening”…
There’s a wonderful buzz in the air at Stoke Damerel Primary, and it’s not just the bees! This term, the children’s gardening club organised/run by both Mrs Pearce and Mrs May has taken root with gusto, donning wellies, rolling up sleeves, and embracing the joys of working the earth at their very own allotment. With a sprinkle of laughter and a dash of curiosity, these young horticulturists are diving headfirst into the world of “lasagna gardening” - a marvellous organic method that’s as fun as it sounds.
The secret ingredient? The generous PTA, who provided heaps of much-needed compost. Their support means that children can now build their garden beds layer by layer, tucking in leaves, kitchen scraps, and soil just like a delicious lasagne. With every session, the allotment will grow into a patchwork of promise and possibility - proof that with teamwork, imagination, and a spot of compost, you can create a little slice of paradise right in the heart of school.
So here’s to the next crop of green-thumbed gardeners - The children are hoping to be able to sell what they grow so that gardening club can be self sufficient going forward 🌱

We heard a whisper of sleigh bells and were thrilled to help a very special visitor on an important Christmas mission…

The PTA was delighted to support Father Christmas in delivering a beautiful book for every child in our school. A little sprinkle of magic, a lot of festive cheer, and some stories ready to be enjoyed this Christmas 📚🎅✨
