And just like that the Easter break is over and we’re back to the studio for another term of beautiful dancing 🩰

Over the break some of our Silver Swans enjoyed a Swan Lake masterclass with the wonderful 🦢

As always he inspired, motivated and gently guided our dancers. We are so lucky to have Isaac as part of of our workshop team and we can’t wait for his summer workshops! 💗

Wow, what a fabulous term we have had! 🤩

Classes have now stopped for the festive break and we’ll be back in January for Term 3 🎄

Wishing all our wonderful HHDC dancers and their families a very Merry Christmas and we’ll see you all in 2026 for another year of fabulous dancing 💕

Linda and Maryam will be running a Move to Nurture - dance for cancer care taster session at this event next Saturday (20th September)

They’ll be lots of community support groups there, including hair/wig specialists, arts activities, cancer exercise experts, as well as information on lots of local therapies and activities people can access.

If you or someone you know has been affected by cancer, this event will help you/them meet the local community who support patients through their cancer journey.

We have new Silver Swan Ballet and Seated Swan classes starting in September 🦢

Our Swan classes have been specially created for 55yrs + and are suitable for all levels of experience, mobility and fitness.

We think our sessions are brilliant, but just don’t take word! Here’s what one of our swan’s has to say about our classes….

‘Silver Swans has had a positive impact on both my physical health and mental well-being. It’s has greatly improved my balance, posture and core strength, which is so important as we age; with the added bonus that it improves my cognitive awareness through musicality and learning completely new dances each term.

Maryam and Linda’s creative and carefully crafted choreography is well considered and great fun!

Making new friends and regular swan socials are the icing on the cake as it prevents social isolation, which is a key issue when we get older’

👍🏼We participatied in delivering free dance for seniors in Plymouth
🙏🏽we were awarded ‘top 3 dance schools in Plymouth’ by - thank you for your continued support.
💻We were featured in the ‘Let’s Dance Plymouth’ campaign by - a celebration of all things dance in Plymouth
🤩We ran a successful pilot programme of a new dance session - launching for all in September (details will out soon)
