Important Reminder – Please Close the Nursery Door Behind You

Dear Parents and Carers,

We kindly ask that everyone takes a moment to ensure the nursery entrance door is fully closed behind them whenever dropping off or collecting their child.

This is an important part of keeping all of our children safe and secure. A door that is left open, even for a short time, can create a safeguarding risk by allowing children to leave the premises or unauthorised individuals to enter the building unnoticed.

If someone is arriving behind you, please don’t feel obliged to hold the door open. Instead, allow them to use the doorbell or access system so our team can maintain control over who enters the nursery.

Your support with this simple but important measure helps us provide a safe and secure environment for every child in our care.

Dear Parents,

We regret to inform you that the nursery will be closed tomorrow due to the current heat warnings and an unexpected issue with our air conditioning system.

The safety of the children and our staff is our absolute top priority, and we cannot risk keeping the setting open under these conditions. We have a technician scheduled to arrive first thing in the morning to resolve the issue, but we cannot take the chance that it might not be fixed quickly enough.

We have consulted with other local providers before making this difficult decision. We sincerely apologise for the short notice and for any significant inconvenience this may cause your family.

We’d like to inform you that we have them quoting for AC upstairs in the baby area so we can prevent further closures.
