Plymouth midwifery society is an academic society open to all students within the university, we specialise in organising midwifery related study days, and discussions to further the knowledge of our members and broaden our academic horizons as well as social events.

The majority of our current committee are third year students so we are looking for people who would like to continue to grow the society next year…unfortunately the society will be unable to continue without volunteers . Please get in touch if you are at all interested!

⭐️THURSDAY 24TH NOVEMBER 1830, PADS ONLINE TRAINING SESSION⭐️ Lucienne from PADS is offering an online training session which will cover all to do with Down Syndrome in the 21st Century, use of appropriate language, best practice to support new/ expectant parents of babies with Down Syndrome, and what PADS can do to support families as well as midwives. This will no doubt be very interesting, and you can use this towards your extra-curricular hours! Hope to see you there 😊 FREE to society members, tickets available on SU site.
