Plymouth University Staff Sailing

Plymouth University Staff Sailing Sailing in summer 2025 The Plymouth University Staff Sailing Club is an adults only club, open to University members of staff and friends. Remember to keep warm!

We sail from the Mount Batten Centre and wind and tide dependent, out into the Sound. Our usual sessions are on Thursday evenings and a Saturday mornings, with event day sails in the summer. We also take part in events such as the Yealm Passage Race and the Eddystone Pursuit Race. Our most popular boat for double handers is the Bahia and for single handers the Feva and Pico. Hawk keelboats can also be available, if requested in advance. Prices are £8.50 members, £11 non-members
with £12.50 membership

You will get wet! If you do not have your own stuff, (wetsuit, windproof, buoyancy aid etc. ) MBC are able to provide, but you will need to bring your own closed toed shoes to get wet in.
