Congratulations to Kasia & Michael and Meg & Alex who got married over the weekend and performed their wedding dances for their guests. Michael and Kasia's chosen track was a Polish song which was an interesting but welcome challenge for me and both dances for each couple were looking fabulous by the end of our three rehearsals.

I always look forward to hearing from couples in the weeks following the big day and sometimes get photos and videos that I'm allowed to share with you which is always lovely. I'll let you know if I hear from them 😊

🎭 YOU HAD TO BE THERE!

What a morning! We were thrilled to welcome Tessa Fox, Swing on the World Tour of Moulin Rouge! The Musical, to The Dance Shed for two fantastic Musical Theatre workshops.

Our students absolutely smashed it and Tessa was incredible.

If you weren’t there… you missed a good one! 👀

🎥 Workshop videos will be coming soon, but they’ll be shared exclusively in our private Facebook group for TDS students.
Not in the group yet? Come and join us! Head over, request to join and get involved with everything happening at The Dance Shed.

Videos coming soon… 👀🎥

Our new term starts tomorrow! We hope you had a restful break and are feeling refreshed. ✨

Our school is constantly growing, and we are so happy to welcome 43 new students to the studio for trial classes so far this term. 😱👏

We also look forward to seeing all our returning students back in the studio.

Here's to a great term, everyone! 💫

I’m just looking over some cards I received before the summer break, and it’s a lovely reminder that you never know which moments, conversations or lessons will stay with a student.

I don’t need thanks for doing a job I genuinely enjoy, but knowing that my efforts have had a positive impact is a very welcome boost before the start of a new term. ❤️
