Yesterday, we were pleased to award this cohort of Level 3 Carpentry Apprentices their CITB Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) qualification, which they have completed as an additional qualification alongside their apprenticeship.

A great achievement for Logan, Joseph, Charlie, Samuel, Isaac, Ben & Thomas! 👏

Adding qualifications like SSSTS alongside their carpentry apprenticeship gives these apprentices valuable knowledge of site safety, supervision & the responsibilities that come with working on a construction site.

It’s another great step towards building their skills, experience & confidence as they progress through their apprenticeships and towards a long-term career in the construction industry.

Well done to all of you - keep up the hard work! 🦺🔨

Huge thank you to Lucas from the The OddBalls Foundation for their visit to Greenlight Plymouth last Friday 🧱🚧👷

Lucas gave an informative presentation to both tutors and apprentices on Testicular Cancer; raising awareness on signs and symptoms, how to check yourself and encouraging each other to talk about men's health. Well done to all involved, asking questions and having good conversations.

🎉 Celebrating success at Greenlight!

A huge well done to Joshua Blatchford, who has passed his Level 2 Carpentry apprenticeship with Energy Build Southwest Ltd 👏🔨

It was brilliant to celebrate Joshua’s achievement alongside employer Tom Weston and his Carpentry Tutor, Tyrone.

Completing an apprenticeship takes plenty of hard work, commitment & time on the tools, and Joshua has done a great job of putting those skills into practice throughout his apprenticeship.

A great achievement for Joshua and another skilled tradesperson ready to take the next step in his career.

Well done, Joshua - we look forward to seeing what you do next! 🦺🔨
