We have made it to the end of term π
We enjoyed our final Celebration Assembly this afternoon and recognised the amazing achievement that has made this academic year a really successful one.
We gave our Year 6 leavers the usual send off. It has been a privilege watching them grow as young people during their time at our wonderful school. We hope their next adventures are as fun and memorable. Wishing you all the very best of luck at secondary school ππ

CAFOD The Big Lent Walk π
This Lent the children and staff at St Peterβs are taking part in the CAFOD Big Lent Walk! If 140 of us walk the 1.6km around the school, we will walk 224km in total. The walk takes place on Monday 6th March at 9.30 am. Parents and Carers are welcome to join us for a special assembly at 9.15 am and then the walk begins at 9.30 am.
Please sponsor us as we raise money to help fight global poverty. Donations can be as little as Β£1, or as much as you can generously afford.

This week Assisi class have been learning all about the Chinese New Year. We were very lucky to have a visitor to come and teach us all about Chinese New Year and the traditions. We have been busy making dragons, Chinese lanterns, zodiac animals out of Lego, and rabbits as it is the Year of the Rabbit.

Our children have been paying their respects to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, after the sad news of her death yesterday. Flowers and candles have been laid by our Jubilee Tree in the playground.
We have talked about our feelings and that it is ok not to understand our emotions. We are now creating our own class Books of Condolences π
Gracious God, we give thanks for the life of your servant Queen Elizabeth, for her faith and dedication to duty. Bless our nation as we mourn her death and may her example continue to inspire us; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
