π What a fantastic way to finish the academic year! π
Weβve loved seeing our students (and staff!) take part in another successful Enrichment Week and Work Experience Week. Stepping outside their comfort zones, trying new things, developing new skills and embracing every opportunity that came their way.
From exploring new interests to gaining valuable workplace experiences, our students have shown curiosity, resilience, confidence and a willingness to challenge themselves. We hope they have enjoyed the past few days, made memories to be proud of, and discovered more about their own strengths and future possibilities.
A huge thank you to all the staff, employers, organisations and families who supported these experiences and helped make this week such a success.
Well done to all our students, what a brilliant way to celebrate the end of the academic year! π
Wishing everyone a safe and well-earned summer break - We can't wait to welcome you back in SeptemberβοΈ

π Well done to our Hele's Geographers! π
Congratulations to all of our Hele's students who took part in this year's WorldWise Geography Quiz. It was a closely contested and exciting competition between WeST schools: Callington, Plymstock, Hele's and Coombe Dean.
Congratulations to Coombe Dean, who were the overall winners this year. The Geography Trophy will soon be making its way to its new home - well done! π
We are especially proud of our winning Hele's team, who represented the school brilliantly throughout the competition. A huge congratulations to our fantastic Year 8 students, Charlie, Emmey and Sebastian, whose excellent teamwork and geographical knowledge led to a superb performance.
We look forward to the next inter-school quiz at Christmas, when we'll be aiming to bring the trophy back to Hele's! πͺπ
A big thank you to Mrs Davies and the Geography Department for organising and supporting this fantastic opportunity for our budding Geographers.

Huge congratulations to our Year 11 and 13 students who last week completed their A Level and GCSE exams. Any exam series is always tough but this year's cohorts
have been exceptional, conducting themselves impeccably throughout and showing the true grit and determination which will undoubtedly lead to excellent outcomes this summer.
It was lovely to invite Year 11 back into school last Friday to celebrate the end of exams with their Leavers' Assembly; the penultimate big event of their year! Shirts were signed and photos and tales of the students' journeys through school were shared as tear-jerking songs echoed through school! We will certainly miss this wonderful cohort who now have their Prom to look forward to on 1st July! π
