Proud moment at the Box today 🤩 We found our St Luke's Lighthouse, looking fabulous and on display for all to see. If you get a chance over the summer holidays you should definitely go and check it out. It's on show next to the cafe 💙

Last day tomorrow. A huge well done to all our children for completing another school year. An extra special goodbye and good luck to our wonderful year 6's. Thank you Goosewell Primary Academy 💙

Head along to this amazing, community event on Saturday. Our very own Miss Gould is hosting, and there's even a chance to throw a wet sponge or 2 at her 😅😂 A fun day out for the whole family 🤗

If anyone has any puzzles/ games they would like to donate to KS1 lunch club we would greatly appreciate it 👍🏼 please send them to reception or in with your child. Many thanks 🙏🏼

☀️ Hot Weather Update ☀️

With the warm weather set to continue this week, we’re making a few changes to help keep everyone happy, cool and safe 😊

👕 Children are welcome to wear their PE kits all week
🧴 Please apply suncream before school and send some in for reapplication
💧 Bring a named water bottle with plenty to drink
🧢 Don’t forget a hat for outdoor time

In school, we’ll be taking extra care by staying out of the sun during the hottest parts of the day, using shaded areas and making sure children have lots of water breaks.

Unfortunately, due to the amber weather warning, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to cancel this week’s sports days. We know this will be disappointing, but we’ll look to rearrange them when the weather is kinder to us 🌤️

A massive thank you to everyone who came to the Goosewell summer fair today! What a great day it was!

All of it was made possible by our wonderful staff & volunteers, who worked so hard to keep everything running smoothly! & the lovely stallholders who had such a variety available for everyone!
