Year 5/6 Residential Travel Update

Please note that the children are still on track to arrive at the expected time of 4:00pm. However, there is some heavy traffic ahead on the route, so there may be slight delays.

Please bear with us if we do run a little late.

Year 5/6 residential travel update

Following the earlier news regarding a train cancellation, we now have an update.

A replacement coach service has been arranged and is expected to arrive at Ivybridge Train Station at approximately 4:00pm.

Please do not worry if you are unable to reach the station until 4:20pm, as originally planned. We will, of course, wait with the children until all have been collected safely.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility.

Congratulations to all our certificate winners this week! Everyone enjoyed their juice and biscuit and sharing what they are looking forward to over the weekend!

Hello from the Y5/6 residential! We’ve had a great first day in Bristol, at British Aerospace and the mosque. We’re now getting ready for dinner at the youth hostel. We can’t wait to share all our photos when we’re home!

After school today we will be selling the remaining cakes from yesterday and possibly some ice lollies.

Thank you to everyone who entered a cake into our Sports Day cake competition!
The sports theme has truly been embraced and they all look delicious!

Don’t forget to bring some money with you this afternoon, as the cakes will be sold at our summer fair at the end of the day.

Winners of the competition will be announced along with the sports day medals at the end of the day.

We’re looking forward to seeing you for our sports day races at 2pm!
