Wow Erme, what an amazing colour run we had on Monday. We raised a huge amount of money and all had fun in the process! Huge thanks to the PTFA for all their organising to make it such a fabulous event.

Wow, what a day it has been for the PTFA. All classes enjoyed their first play on the new play equipment today after a long time fundraising! We then ended our day with The Erme's first ever colour run which has raised near to £600 after the expenses. Thank you to the PTFA for all their hard work and for everyone who has supported us! We are looking forward to sharing many photos from the colour run over next few days with you.

Today in celebration assembly we celebrated our cake competition winners, as well as our learner, value and star reader of the week.
All of the competition entries were excellent and so it was very hard to choose!
Well done, everyone!

🧁 🍰 Cake sale after school! 🧁 🍰

Thank you to everyone who came to join us for our Stay and Read session this morning, followed by our MacMillan coffee morning! We have raised an enormous £112.85 so far which is amazing.

Thank you also for the amazing cake donations - they were fantastic! Prizes will be awarded in celebration assembly this afternoon.

We still have lots of cake left over, and we will be selling this in the playground after school for a donation. Please bring along some change to enable you to purchase a cake for your child!

This week we were visited by the amazing Ivybridge Music Centre. We listened to a range of instruments and different styles of music. We joined in the rhythms using our bodies as percussion. On Wednesday 30th September there is a free try an instrument for children in year 4 - 6, all the information on this and how to play an instrument for as little as £3.50 a month. Today Rock Steady Music School joined us at The Erme for an exciting and energetic musical experience. The whole school enjoyed a live assembly, listening to a variety of songs and getting involved by clapping, singing, and showing off their best rock star moves!

Following the assembly, our KS2 pupils took part in their own interactive workshop. Some children formed a band and, incredibly, within just three minutes, they were performing Sh***un. Their confidence, teamwork, and enthusiasm were fantastic to see, and they gave a truly impressive performance.
