Drake News 03.06.2026 Dear Parents/ Carers

The key stage 1 and early years children were very proud to share their learning with their adults this afternoon 🥹👏🏼📖 Thank you to the PTA who provided the warm drinks on this wet and rainy afternoon!

Drake Primary needs you! We are in the process of making our KS2 library more cosy and inviting for our readers at Drake. We are in need of large bean bags/ cushions, a floor lamp and fairy lights. If you have any of these things at home that are needing a new purpose in life, please let us know! ☺️📚

Drake News 22.05.2026 Thank you to all the parents who took the time to complete our recent questionnaire and provide honest feedback. We truly value your views and appreciate the support in helping us continue to improve

Day 3 - the final day 💔 the challenges continued and the year 6 residential group completed them all with huge smiles on their faces. It has been a remarkable experience! Thank you to our wonderful staff members Mr Symons, Mrs Velikajne, Miss Eastwood and Miss Mills for accompanying the children. And thank you Barton Hall for another great trip - Drake primary will be back next year! 🙌🏼🌞

Day 2 - our Y6 residential group went full action-hero today: survival skills, raft building, vertical challenge and laser tag 😎🔥 They'll all be fast asleep by 9pm...

KS2 enjoyed the sun up at North Down park with some other local schools at a large scale exercise and book gifting event! They had a wonderful time and we are grateful to have been invited 🥰🌞
