About me - I am originally from Dunfermline, Fife, and moved to Whitleigh with my wife in 1999. Having lived in Whitleigh for over 20 years, I do feel passionate about the area. I am a qualified Youth and Community worker, and worked in the Whitleigh Youth Club when it was situated in Lancaster Gardens. Just for information, the huge collection of rubbish at Kendal Place has now been removed. Thanks again to Clean Our Patch CIC and all the volunteers.
There are some pipes waiting for a contractor to safely remove and fencing is in place surrounding this.
Tailyour Road/Hunters Close. Update on dropped kerbs- Email received today.
"I can confirm that a site visit took place and I have ordered a dropped crossing on the junction, slightly further into Hunter Close.
We have ordered many dropped crossings in the city so I am unsure when the works will take place, I will ask the contractor and get back to you."

Incredible. When we first looked at this area with El, we weren't sure that it could be done. Several fruitless conversations with the council left us with no choice but to crack on and get the job done. El and Ash, we are truly blown away by the work you have put it, organising volunteers, and making this happen. Thank you to all the volunteers, but especially to El and Ash . You knew this was important to us, and made it happen. Proud to be part of Clean Our Patch CIC family
