Mama Bear's Day Nursery Crownhill, Plymouth

At our Fort View Nursery in Plymouth the children have been exceptional explorers when making our own jellyfish for international Ocean Day.

The Preschool children at our Fort View Nursery in Plymouth have been very lucky to have Lucy from Banardos’s come and visit and teach us all about road safety. We even had the opportunity to dress up as lollipop people to help cross the road safely. Fantastic work everyone!

The Preschool children at our Fort View Nursery in Plymouth have been compassionate citizens when helping make cheesy garlic wraps for tea for the whole nursery.
We used our fine motor skills to grate the cheese and spread the button onto the bread. I think the best part was eating them for our tea!

The Preschool children at our Fort View Nursery in Plymouth have been amazing athletes when using their large muscles to lift, shake and bounce balls on the parachute in the garden. Great work Preschool!

In celebration of Plymouth’s Pirate weekend and our May’s theme of “I wonder what happened a very long time ago?” the Preschool children at our Fort View Nursery in Plymouth had a pirate day on Friday.
We enjoyed dressing up in our best pirate costumes and showed off out best balancing skills when “walking the plank” in the garden. 🏴

The Babies at our Fort View Nursery in Plymouth have been learning all about senses for the month of April.
We have used our hands to get very messy in the sand!
We have exploring the sensory room and listening to the different sounds of musical instruments and much more!

The Babies at our Fort View Nursery in Plymouth have been experimenting with different ways we can use our bodies to be physical inside!
The babies have been keen risk takers when supervised with climbing, crawling and balancing our bodies when using the new climbing equipment.

The Bouncy children at our Fort View Nursery in Plymouth have been exceptional explorers today when going on a flower hunt in the garden and using them to create some beautiful artwork. 🌸

The Preschool children at our Fort View Nursery in Plymouth have been focusing on our well-being and emotional development this term and have been involved with Mini minds activities.
The children have been practicing their affirmations daily and controlling their breathing when they are feeling uneasy with their “rollercoaster” breathing exercises. It was extra calming being able to do one of our sessions in the outside environment where we could hear the birds sing and feel the breeze on our face. Great work everyone!

The Bouncy children at our Fort View Nursery in Plymouth have been exceptional explorers when creating their own England flags for St George’s Day recently!
We focused really hard on where we placed our sticking and paint and talked about the different places we have seen the English flag before.
