We are excited to be re-opening our store tomorrow after our renovations!

From next week, Tuesday 4th August until Friday 4th September our opening hours are extended from 10am to 3pm every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. This gives you more opportunity to come and find the uniform you are looking for.

🌍♻️ Community Litter Pick Success! ♻️🌍
Yesterday, some of our Year 4 and Year 5 pupils were proud to join members of the Co-op and our Environment Club for a community litter pick around the local area.
It was fantastic to see our children demonstrating such enthusiasm, responsibility and pride in their community as they helped make our local environment cleaner and greener. Activities like this help our pupils understand the importance of caring for the world around them and working together to make a positive difference.
A huge thank you to the Co-op for taking the time to support this event and for helping to inspire our young environmental champions. We are incredibly grateful for your partnership and commitment to our community.
Well done to all the children who took part – you were excellent ambassadors for Salisbury Road Primary School! 🌟

⚽🏴 We know many children will be excited to support England in their next match! As kick-off is at 1.00am on Monday, we'll be showing the game on catch-up at school from 9.00am for any children who would like to watch.
🤫 If possible, please help keep the result a secret so they can enjoy all the excitement!
Children who choose not to watch will take part in alternative learning activities as normal.

🔬 Science Fair 2026 🔬

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s Science Fair – it was fantastic to see so many of you there!
Inspired by the British Science Week theme ‘Curiosity: What’s Your Question?’, our children from Foundation to Year 6 explored a range of exciting investigations, showing great curiosity and brilliant scientific thinking.
We are so proud of the amazing work they produced and loved sharing it with you all. A special thank you to those children who stayed after school to talk so confidently and enthusiastically about their learning – you were amazing! 🌟

🌟 Plymouth Half Marathon Primary School's Challenge – What an Achievement! 🌟
We are incredibly proud of our amazing children who completed the last mile of the Plymouth Half Marathon Primary Schools Challenge this weekend! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
They showed fantastic determination, resilience and team spirit throughout – they really did us proud! 💙

A huge congratulations also to our brilliant staff runners:
👏 Miss Pearce and Mrs Burke, who completed the Plymouth 10K
👏 Mr Taylor, who ran the Half Marathon and then joined the children to complete their final mile – what an incredible effort!
And a big shout out to any of our parents and families who took part in the 10K or Half Marathon – we loved seeing our school community getting involved and supporting such a fantastic event.
Well done everyone – what a wonderful way to celebrate effort, perseverance and community spirit! 🎉
