UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE — GIVING NEW EDUCATION THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE EXAMINED

THE HUMAN ADVANCEMENT SOLUTION has now arrived safely at Cambridge University Library.

Cambridge has confirmed that the book will now be processed and should appear in the University Library catalogue in due course.

I am sharing the response because this is important evidence of what it means for a leading educational institution to give a new education route the opportunity to be examined.

THE HUMAN ADVANCEMENT SOLUTION presents the L2Q Structured Evidence-Based Questioning System as a structured education route developed to be added to existing education to improve it — developing independent thinking, discerning truth, strengthening understanding and helping people learn from the world environment.

Cambridge University Library has chosen to accept the work into its collection and give it the opportunity to be examined, questioned and learned from.

That opportunity is significant.

Education advances by giving new educational approaches the opportunity to be examined, questioned and learned from rather than dismissing them before that examination can take place.

My response to Cambridge is also shown here because their decision represents exactly why giving new educational approaches the opportunity to be examined matters.

THE HUMAN ADVANCEMENT SOLUTION AUDIOBOOK HAS NOW BEEN COMMISSIONED

I have now commissioned the official audiobook edition of THE HUMAN ADVANCEMENT SOLUTION, and production is now underway.

The purpose of producing the audiobook is to make THE HUMAN ADVANCEMENT SOLUTION available to as many people as possible in another format, allowing people to choose whether they read or listen.

Once completed, the audiobook will be distributed through audiobook retailers and listening platforms at the lowest price their distribution policies allow. It will also be made freely available through my websites and social media channels.

This is another step in making THE HUMAN ADVANCEMENT SOLUTION as widely accessible as possible in both written and audio formats.

THE UNIVERSITY OF PLYMOUTH HAS ACCEPTED THE HUMAN ADVANCEMENT SOLUTION

Every improvement to education begins when someone is willing to take the first step.

The University of Plymouth has become the first educational institution—university or school—to accept THE HUMAN ADVANCEMENT SOLUTION into its library collection and confirm that it will be appropriately signposted to relevant academic staff.

I would like to recognise the University of Plymouth for taking that first step.

After I offered a complimentary copy to the University, the initial response declined the donation because the book was not “specified as required reading.”

I respectfully challenged that reasoning.

Every educational resource has to be considered before it can ever become part of education.

My request was never for the University to adopt THE HUMAN ADVANCEMENT SOLUTION automatically.

My request was that the book be considered by the appropriate academic decision-maker because it was created to be added to existing education to improve it.

Following further correspondence, the matter was referred to the University Librarian and Head of Library & Learning Services.

The outcome changed.

The University confirmed that:

* THE HUMAN ADVANCEMENT SOLUTION has been accepted into the University library collection.
* Relevant academic staff are advised of new books and resources within their disciplines.
* THE HUMAN ADVANCEMENT SOLUTION will be appropriately signposted to the relevant academic staff.

The agreed donation has now been sent to the University of Plymouth Library by signed-for delivery.

People have not improved.

The world has endlessly repeated.

Until now.

Humanity continues to repeat the same problems generation after generation despite education existing.

If something is learnt from, it stops repeating.

The fact that the same problems continue throughout history shows that education is not producing the learning needed to stop the repetition.

Current and previous education have focused on teaching people how to function within the world environment they inherit.

What is missing is teaching people how to learn from that world environment so it can be seen, understood, learnt from, and improved.

Without this missing route, people become products of the world environment rather than learning from it.

They inherit existing systems, beliefs, behaviours, narratives, and repeated patterns, often without understanding what is shaping them or why those outcomes continue.

Children then inherit the same world and many of the same repeated outcomes.

Children inherit the world that adults create.

If children are not taught how to learn from the world environment, they will continue inheriting many of the same repeated outcomes that previous generations inherited before them.

Human Advancement depends upon humanity learning from what it creates, understanding what shapes it, and stopping the repetition of what should already have been learnt from.

Human Advancement cannot come from continuing the same route.

A route must exist that allows people to learn from the world so it can be understood and improved.

The Human Advancement Solution was written to introduce that route.

It introduces the L2Q Questioning System, a structured evidence-based questioning route designed to help people learn from the world environment, develop independent thinking, discern truth, understand what is shaping them, identify the causes of repeated outcomes, and help stop the repetition of what should already have been learnt from.

This is not only important for students.

It is important for teachers, schools, parents, carers, communities, and education itself.

If humanity wants different outcomes, education requires a route that teaches people how to learn from the world rather than simply adapt to it.
