About last night...
With summer holidays in full swing and people away, we decided to merge the OG Massive with the 45 Crew... and what a great decision that turned out to be. Top run, great atmosphere, and it was brilliant to see a few old faces back on court too – big shout-out to and for coming along.
Speaking of old faces (and on a personal note), massive shout-out to Kieren Reed , who came down from London to see how us Janners ball.
I (Troy) have not properly seen Kieren for maybe 27 years - going all the way back to our Kingston University days – in fact, the only thing that goes back further than our knowing each other is now our hairlines (lol).
It was class sharing the court with him, and we can't wait to see him representing the Crossover up in the big smoke.
Roll on next weeks session and please mesage us if you fancy a run.

Hello! Tonight is the 45+ basketball session BUT we are at a new venue – the Nancy Astor Sports Centre Drakes Circus, Plymouth PL4 8AA for the next 5 weeks. £4. Please do not go to Marjons lol. All abilities welcome.
And finally, a public service announcement to all Plymouth University students: if you spot a small herd of confused-looking OAPs wandering around campus in basketball kit muttering, "I swear it was Marjons...", please gently shepherd them towards the Nancy Astor building. Your community service will be greatly appreciated.
