Amoré, Rosalie and Elias are trying to earn some pocket money so that they can buy some bits from their wish lists. So I’ve bought some bits for them to make little kits to sell. So if you’d like to make their day and buy and any of their little kits they’re between £3.50-£6 depending on the size of the kit/cast 🫶

This week on Tuesday we headed to our first music man session of the term and what fun we had! We also enjoyed playing at home with some of our new resources.
On Wednesday we went to Mount Edgecombe- we had so much fun exploring the changing season, crunching leaves, finding conkers (lots and lots of conkers!), before then playing on the beach. And today we had a lovely little day at home, playing with our huge collection of conkers, using metal heuristics, practicing our hand eye coordination, filling and emptying containers and taking turns.

We had a wonderful week last week… we spent the week at home, getting back in routine, and there were lots of trips to and from school as Elias had a week of settling in at big boy school 🥹 Throughout the week we had lots of fun making marks using paints, brushes and our bodies, lots of my littles loved the sensory experience of the paint on their skin! We also spent lots of time with our puppies, giving them lots of lovies, playing with them and being really gentle and kind to them 🥰 We also explored some of our new resources, played in the role play kitchen and explored magnets 😊

Celebrating a huge milestone of becoming a Coombe View Graduate!!

My biggest boy had his last session with me at the end of August, ready to start his new adventure of preschool! He has been with me since he was a baby, and seeing him grow and develop into the wonderful and very confident little boy has been such an honour and privilege!
As always this is the hardest part of our journey but it’s never the end! I’m extremely lucky that I will still have adventures with him during the holidays 🥰💚

And finally, last week…. We explored a new woodland area which was a bit hilly, but beautiful nevertheless! Throughout the week we spent lots of time handling the puppies and giving them lots of love, watching them and talking about the changes we’ve seen in them - including now being able to walk around a bit better, teething and almost being ready to wean! We also spent time doing activities which promotes our dexterity muscles and movements, including threading, playing with playdough and making marks! This week, I also reintroduced dolls back into our role play area and how lovely it’s been to watch how the littles play with them!! They’re becoming such kind, caring and very nurturing little ones 🥰 I’m absolutely bursting with pride!!

I love how the children all played and explored the dough completely different from one another. We also enjoyed singing and doing actions along with our song to help strengthen our muscles in our hands to help with our preparation of using tools such as mark making tools! Of course, we also had lots of interaction and cuddles with our puppies, enjoyed playing in the garden and had lots of opportunity to just play! 💚

During this week, we also had our Ofsted inspection!
