What a beautiful day! We had a wonderful little wander through Radford park, we enjoyed feeding the ducks, geese and swans. We then headed to the park where we enjoyed playing before then having a picnic lunch 💚 This afternoon we cleaned out the stick insects, handled them and also handled Dottie 💚

We had a wonderful day on the Hoe finding the StLukesGuidingLights - they were absolutely beautiful! I had so many compliments today from strangers on how beautifully behaved, well mannered and polite my puddings were - I’m so proud of them! I love how all of my littles greeted every single person who walked past us with a cheery ‘morning’ 🥰
We had a quick stop off at Margos to grab myself a sandwich before continuing our adventure! Once back at the top of the Hoe, we enjoyed a picnic lunch (my sandwich was absolutely delicious)! And a really lovely lady approached us and asked if she could take a photo for us 🥹

First day back for me after my little break and we kicked off our summer holiday fun with a trip to the Eden Project | Cornwall, UK - and it was probably one of the busiest visits I’ve ever had there! Despite being so busy and a bit rainy, we had a lovely day! We especially loved finding the dinosaurs!

We're expanding testing for Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) across England.
From October, SMA checks will start being added to the heel-prick test for newborns.
This is part of an evaluation gathering evidence for a permanent national screening programme.

I also took the opportunity to chat to the wonderful staff and volunteers from Harbour and got trained in administering Naloxone; something which I’ve been wanting to do for a long time now. I really hope I don’t ever come across anyone needing it, but if I do, I’ll be very grateful for having had the training and being given the drug to administer!

And today we headed on the Hoe again for another wonder around to find some lighthouses, it was also Plymouth Pride so we had a wonder through the festival before then having a little picnic lunch in the shade and then finally we had a cool dip in the sea 💙 Once home, we enjoyed a yummy ice cream/ice lolly and then we spent the rest of the afternoon on playing in the garden 😊

On Thursday we headed to Decoy park with one of our lovely childminder friends and her littles. We had such a wonderful time playing in the splash pad, we fed the ducks and swans and even got up close with a beautiful pigeon. We also had our lunch in the woods where it was lovely and cool and very shady! We may or may not have had a sneaky mini milk too to help cool down 😋

On Wednesday we had a lot of fun and we got very messy too! We enjoyed a huge area full of mark making opportunities in the garden using a wide range of tools from paintbrushes, paint rollers, loofas, squeezing bottles that had paints, kitchen utensils and of course ourselves! We also enjoyed exploring the ocean - my biggest little one always surprises me with how much knowledge he has on sea creatures! I’m 100% sure he’s going to end up in a job where he’s working very closely with animals! 🥰

We’ve got some VERY exciting news…. Our little Ruby Roo is expecting her first litter of puppies 🥹 She had a scan this morning and they think she’s got 4/5 puppies due ❤️ Our little love is expecting to give birth on the 8th August, so right in the midst of the summer holidays - meaning all of my pickles will get to experience being around very teeny tiny puppies! EEEEEEEK!
