Happy half term everyone! Here’s my favourite book recommendations for half term. Roald Dahl, Julia Donaldson and a must… We’re going on a Bear Hunt. Finding the time to read a book at bedtime with your child is a special way to show your love and care and it gives them a gift for life. If you know of anyone who needs help to develop their reading skills or find a love of reading I would love to help. My book recommendations for this week. For all ages. Reading with children helps to build their ’reading aloud’ skills and confidence. If you snuggle in at bedtime with your child you are giving them a gift for life ❤️

We’re ready for our day at a lovely local school helping the children develop their reading skills. Little Bear is eager to hear the children read and I’m ready to play games and make stories come to life with an array of colourful puppets. Building the foundations to support children’s independent reading ❤️

Everyone can learn to read, it just takes the right teacher. I have been teaching children to read for 18 years and I love it!
