Happy half term everyone! Here’s my favourite book recommendations for half term. Roald Dahl, Julia Donaldson and a must… We’re going on a Bear Hunt. Finding the time to read a book at bedtime with your child is a special way to show your love and care and it gives them a gift for life. If you know of anyone who needs help to develop their reading skills or find a love of reading I would love to help. I offer sessions from £20 and it is so important to me to help any child who is struggling to read. Please get in touch or share this post. You can find the whole world in a book x

My book recommendations for this week. For all ages. Reading with children helps to build their ’reading aloud’ skills and confidence. If you snuggle in at bedtime with your child you are giving them a gift for life ❤️

A couple of positive quotes I noticed at school today. It’s ok to ‘Just be yourself, everyone else is taken! ‘Thank you Oscar Wilde for your insightful wisdom!

We’re ready for our day at a lovely local school helping the children develop their reading skills. Little Bear is eager to hear the children read and I’m ready to play games and make stories come to life with an array of colourful puppets. Building the foundations to support children’s independent reading ❤️

Everyone can learn to read, it just takes the right teacher. I have been teaching children to read for 18 years and I love it! If you know of anyone who would like to gain a new found confidence in their ability to read and understand what they read I’d love to hear from you. My mission is to help every person find their love of reading. The whole world can be found within a book ❤️ Please share 🙏
