What a great day! Despite the unpredictable weather trying to dampen the mood, our incoming Year 7s had a wonderful introduction to life at Plymouth College. It was the perfect opportunity for everyone to settle in, explore, and bond.
We are incredibly proud of how quickly everyone settled in, made new friends, and embraced our school spirit.
If our Move Up Day was anything to go by, this year group is going to achieve amazing things. We can't wait to officially welcome you all in September! π
π Want to join in the fun? Contact our admissions team today who will be delighted to walk you through your very own admissions journey.

A huge thank you to our incredible PFA for their generous donation of a new fire pit, popcorn maker, flint and steel, and safety equipment, what a gift to our Forest School community π²π₯
Today our prep pupils learnt how to stay safe around a fire pit and explored what a fire can tell us about the natural environment. After practising their new skills, they gathered together to toast marshmallows and enjoy the simple joy of being outdoors as a team πβ¨
Weβre so grateful for the opportunities our PFA helps us create for our pupils.

π Celebrating Our Duke of Edinburghβs Award Achievements! π
The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is open to all young people aged 14 to 25, and is available in three levels; Bronze, Silver and Gold. Each level takes an increasing length of time to complete and, to recognise their commitment, participants who achieve their Gold DofE are invited to attend Buckingham Palace to celebrate this impressive achievement. π
This year is also the 70th anniversary of the award, and to mark the occasion a member of DofE staff from each establishment was also invited. Mr Rees was delighted to attend and support Anna A as she visited the Palace, and was even more pleased to visit the tea tent. π
This is a fitting tribute to the effort the young people put in, but it would not be possible without the dedication that adults put into supporting pupils to complete their award; be it parents who encourage, assessors who confirm a young person has been practicing and volunteering, or staff who take pupils to far flung places for their expeditions. ππ
