A post to celebrate our brilliant KS2 choir 🎶

They have had an extremely busy few weeks - not only within school but throughout the wider community as well.
They have opened the school fair, performed in three carol concerts, sung for the residents of Douro Court and joined Ivybridge Methodist Church for their Carols in the Carpark.

Their singing has been beautiful and they have got everyone in the festive spirit! 🎄
Miss Hughes has loved leading them and is very impressed with how they’ve represented our school.

Some of our Year 5 and 6 families will be aware that we have been part of a research project with The University of Reading for a few years now. The project has been looking at progress in Primary Languages.

The findings so far have been really positive and our Stowford linguists have been performing well in French lessons and assessments with researchers.

Stowford School celebrate Harvest Festival!

Stowford School enjoyed a special Harvest Assembly today. The assembly included a representative from the Ivybridge Foodbank, who was delighted to receive a large range of items from children and parents. All of the generously donated items will support families in our local community who are having difficulties.
