GCSE mock season is rapidly approaching (if not, for some, already here!) so now starts my really busy period where spaces for new pupils traditionally become few and far between. At present I still have some places left for anyone needing help with 11+ or GCSE preparation or simply needing a 'boost' somewhere in the curriculum. Welcome back to a new term and a new school year! Thank you to all of my GCSE pupils for your messages last month, it was great to hear how well you all did! Very well done indeed!

A belated 'Happy New Year' to everyone! We are now well into GCSE and SATs revision and my diary is rapidly filling up with new pupils. There are now very limited spaces available after school hours (I have much more flexibility during the day!) so please do get in touch if you or your child needs a little extra help ahead of the exams in May and June, or just a little extra help in general. I hope that everyone has settled back into the new term. Now that my timetable has returned to a normal routine I do have one or two spaces clear in the late afternoons/evenings after school.

I have had a lot of questions recently about whether I will be available to do any tutoring sessions over the summer holidays. I am pleased to say that I will be available to work for the whole of the final week of term, even though the official end of term is on Wednesday 26th July. Additionally, in line with other holidays recently, I will be available for bookings on Tuesday 1st August and Tuesday 8th August.

For those who have children taking the 11+ in September, there is also a possibility of arranging some other dates too. Please get in touch to arrange these or speak to me during my usual session.

I have almost finalised my prices for next year. I will be sending those out to all of my current pupils/their parents soon.

Welcome back to everyone after the Easter holidays and I hope that everyone had a relaxing break. It really has been a very busy few weeks and I am delighted to have taken on so many new pupils - a big welcome to you all and I am very much looking forward to working with you all.

I hope that you all have had an enjoyable and relaxing summer so far. As the new academic year is rapidly approaching I am currently in the process of contacting all of my current pupils (or their parents!) to sort out appointments for September and beyond. I am excited to be expanding my regular work this year to include adults in addition to my usual work with primary and secondary aged children/students. I have now finalised my prices for the next academic year. If I currently work with you or your child - and I have an email address for you - I will be sending them out shortly. If you don't receive a copy but would like to, please drop me a message with an email address and I will send one on.

I have tried hard this year to ensure that as many people as possible can benefit from some of the discounts I offer. If the options don't quite suit your needs though please do get in touch and we can discuss individualising the options further.

You will also note that I have included group prices this year. This is an excellent opportunity to get very small group tuition for significant discounts compared to individual charges. Again, please get in touch if you would like more information.

I am currently reviewing my prices for the next academic year and I am pleased to announce that there will be no increase in charges for the third consecutive year.

I am also in the process of sorting out some different payment plans from September, each of which will save you money compared to the 'pay on the day' option. I will publish details here in the next few days.
