🌟💚 Congratulations to Lily McShane, our Employee of the Month at Pixieland Stoke!

Lily has recently moved into our Toddlers room and has already become an enormous support to Ella and the rest of the team 😊

Her kind, gentle nature meant the children warmed to her straight away, and her positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in have made her just as popular with her colleagues! 🌈✨

Lily, thank you for everything you bring to Stoke each day. This is so well deserved and we are very proud to call you a Pixie! 💚👏

Well done, Lily! 🎉

💚 Supporting the people who care for our children 💚

We are very proud to share that Faye Martin, our Wellbeing Champion at Pixieland, has completed additional training to become our Workplace Menopause Champion 🌸✨

Faye will be there to offer understanding, guidance and support to colleagues, helping us ensure that anyone experiencing the menopause feels heard and supported in the workplace.

At Pixieland, looking after our team matters. We recognise that different stages of life can bring different challenges, and we want our staff to know that they have people around them who will listen, understand and help make reasonable adjustments where needed 💚

Our teams give so much of themselves every day to care for and support our children. We want to make sure they feel that same care and support from us.

We value our people. We see them, we hear them and we’re here for them 🌈💚

Well done, Faye, and thank you for taking on another important role within our Pixieland family 👏✨

💚 Yesterday was an emotional day at Pixieland Mannamead as we said goodbye to our wonderful Shea Hogarth.

Shea’s Pixieland journey began when she was just 16 years old. She joined us as an apprentice and, over the years, worked incredibly hard to progress all the way to leading our Tinies room 🌈✨

Shea is known and loved by so many for her kindness, patience and gentle nature with the children. Watching her grow from a young apprentice into the brilliant practitioner and room leader she is today has made us incredibly proud 🥹💚

There were plenty of hugs, lots of love and so many wonderful memories shared as we said goodbye.

Shea, thank you for everything you have given to Pixieland over the years. The whole Pixieland family wishes you nothing but happiness and success in your next adventure. You’ll be very missed 💚

Once a Pixie, always a Pixie 🧚✨

🎨✨ Our children at Pixieland Stoke have been busy exploring, creating and making lots of wonderful memories!

Our Pre-School children have been investigating different textures, as well as taking a closer look at their own features and discovering all the little things that make each of them unique 💚

They then got creative and made their very own self-portraits, with some fantastic results! 🖌️😊

Giving children opportunities to express themselves through art and creativity helps build confidence, self-esteem and a positive sense of who they are. Most importantly, they get to have plenty of fun while learning and exploring 🌈✨

We love seeing their individual personalities shine through in everything they create 💚

🎉💚 A huge congratulations to Laina Howie at Pixieland Saltash on completing her End Point Assessment!

Laina shines in our Pre-School room, but she has also gained lots of valuable experience caring for our littlest learners in the Baby Room 🌈✨

Wherever she is in the nursery, Laina brings so much care, kindness and love to the children. She is a wonderful part of our Saltash team and we absolutely adore having her with us 😊💚

Well done, Laina! We are all incredibly proud of you and everything you have achieved 👏🌟

🚒🔥 A very exciting visit at Pixieland Saltash yesterday!

Our children had the fantastic opportunity to welcome some very special visitors from the Fire & Rescue Service 🚒💚

The children loved learning more about what firefighters do, how they help keep us safe and getting a closer look at the fire engine and equipment. There were certainly plenty of excited faces! 😊

Experiences like this are a brilliant way for our children to learn about the world around them and the important people who help keep our communities safe 🌈✨

A huge Pixieland thank you to the firefighters who took the time to visit us. The children and staff absolutely loved having you! 💚🚒

🚓💚 Last week was Emergency Services Week, and our Pixieland nurseries welcomed some very special visitors!

We were delighted to have Nicky and Andrew, two fantastic PCSOs from Devon & Cornwall Police , visit our children and spend time talking about road safety, keeping ourselves and others safe, and the important role the police play within our communities 👮‍♀️👮‍♂️

The children loved getting involved, asking questions and learning more about the work they do. Of course, one of the highlights was getting the chance to explore the police vehicles, and judging by those smiles, it was a big hit! 🚓😊

Experiences like this are such a wonderful way for our children to learn about the world around them and the people who help keep our communities safe 🌈✨

A huge Pixieland thank you to Nicky and Andrew for giving up their time to visit us, and for everything they do within our community. It was a memorable experience for our children and staff, and we hope to welcome you back again soon! 💚🚓
