We’re so excited to share our brand new mud kitchen and water wall with the children! 🌿💦

There’s already been so much imaginative play, teamwork, mixing, pouring, splashing, and exploring. The children have been experimenting with water flow and movement and have been fully engaged in hands-on learning and sensory fun.

Outdoor play like this helps develop creativity, communication, problem-solving, and fine motor skills — all while having an amazing time in the fresh air and sunshine! ☀️

We can’t wait to see all the wonderful ideas and adventures the children create in our new outdoor learning space. 💚

Good morning everyone,

I wanted to kindly remind all parents to include a named bottle of sun cream and a named hat in your child’s bag. If these items are not provided and we don't have nursery sun cream available, your little ones will need to stay in the shade to prevent sunburn.

If you could apply the sun cream before arriving at nursery, that would be wonderful, especially with the lovely weather as we’ll be heading out to the garden right away. Thank you for your ongoing support!

Threadworms 27/04/2026

Good morning everyone,

I want to inform you about a confirmed case of threadworms in the pre-school room. I'm sharing a link from the NHS with information about symptoms and treatment options.

Please remember, if your child requires treatment, they will need to stay at home until they are clear of the infection or if starting treatment, they'll need to be off for about 24 hours after starting treatment. Thank you for your understanding and support as we prioritise the health of all children.

Threadworms Read about threadworms (pinworms), which are tiny worms in your poo. They're common in children and spread easily. You can treat them without seeing a GP.

“ Play with the Smeds and play with the Smoos. Play with whichever friends you choose. Then close your eyes and, while you snooze, dream of the Smeds and dream of the Smoos.” 📚 ✨

We’ve had a lovely World Book Day 2026! Our preschoolers and toddlers engaged in fun activities that sparked their imagination and fostered friendships. Earlier this week, we also celebrated St David’s Day by painting beautiful daffodils, adding a splash of spring to our classroom. It’s truly been a delightful time filled with creativity and enjoyment! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🌼 Don’t forget to join us for our upcoming Mother’s Day stay and play!
